Animal Description

- Scruffy
- Has a few nice clothes, but they're rarely unpacked and hardly used.
- Looks far more serious than he often feels.
- Does his best not to get too disheveled on the road, but his appearance is often not his priority.
- He likes beanies.

- Born in 1891 in Ashcroft, British Columbia to a seamstress and a fur trapper.
- When he was five years old his their small town caught wind of gold discovered in the Klondike region of the Yukon. Transfixed with the idea of easy riches and a better life for his small family, his father made moves to leave in search of a mined fortune.
- His mother protested, not wanting to be left behind and in the summer of 1897, the family set out towards Alaska.
- Hardly a place for the unseasoned traveler, let alone a family, they found themselves in treacherous conditions early on. By the time they reached the Chillkoot Pass, his father had contracted pneumonia, dying shortly after.
- Left with a six year old in the middle of unfamiliar territory, his mother toiled to piece together an existence for herself and her son. Wyatt learned the markings of hard work and determination from his mother, developing an extreme respect for her and other women that clashed with other men's old-fashioned ideals.
- By the time he was ten they'd found a homestead in Glenora and were contentedly scraping by.

- Eager to explore the world but reluctant to leave home, his mother finally pushed him from the next at the age of seventeen.
- He made a living initially following in his father's footsteps, hunting and trapping his way down through the Canadian wilderness.
- Though he was an amiable person, his transitory existence never allowed his connections with others to take root and grow into meaningful relationships.
- By the time he was thirty-nine he felt as though he'd missed out on a large part of life and began questioning the nature of his existence. Intent now on settling down and starting a family, he ended up in Seattle, a far larger and more metropolitan city than he was accustomed to.
- It was there, searching for a new life, that his ended.

- A victim of an overzealous fledgling, Wyatt was attacked on the street, drained, and turned by a vampire who hardly knew what they were doing. When the transformation worked, he was quickly taken to the city's clutch where they told and taught him what he was. It wasn't the new start he'd wanted, but ultimately, an endless timeline to figure things out had its appeal.
- He remained with the Seattle clutch for nearly half a century, becoming comfortable with his new world before finally growing restless enough to want a change.

- In 1980 he became a truck driver, falling into that familiar, impermanent rhythm of constantly being on the move.
- Uneasy after the big vampire reveal and the slew of hate crimes and organized hunting on the rise, he's started looking for another clutch, setting his sights on Mountainside.
