Animal Description
A lithe, quick and decidedly average looking red fox, as one might find in any wooded corner of either America or Japan. The only particularly remarkable feature lies in the creature's almost eerily bright green eyes.

Appearance

Bookish and spartan in her manner of dress and appearance, Kuzu's svelte form is usually garbed in shades of black, grey or silver. The woman prefers skinny, dark washed jeans and overlarge tee shirts that often bear some goofy print or another upon their front. Kuzu despises heels, opting usually for a pair of off-white sneakers and only occasionally dipping into a pair of mary janes when feeling particularly extravagant. She adores long, clingy dresses, but skirts are right out as they remind her far too much of school.

Personality

Bookish, inquisitive and generally pleasant, Kuzu carries a quiet confidence and cheer about her that makes her simple to talk to if one ever manages to track her down. She's a bit of a workaholic and despises downtime more than perhaps anything else, but has been known to sleep in on the weekends despite this fact. Kuzu has a noted and nigh unmanageable caffeine addiction that certainly isn't helped by her caloric needs. Whether this addiction is physical or self imposed is difficult to say; all that matters is that the woman literally drowns in coffee. She hates tea, though, unless it's iced and full of sugar. Kuzu has a competitive streak that most casual passersby would never find out about. It only emerges in two situations: computer games and drinking contests. She almost always wins the former, and consistently loses the latter.

History

Kuzu was born to a pair of Japanese jewel thieves who considered themselves descendants of ancient spirits. Her father Joichiro was a werefox who used his particular talents to infiltrate and snatch away valuables without ever leaving a trace of human evidence. Her mother Rei was a locksmith and a con artist who supplemented her husband's income with her own criminal exploits. Together, they raised Kuzu as part child and part protoge; by the age of ten she was being regularly utilized in her parents' schemes, and by the age of 16 she had been turned by her father into a werefox in her own right. At the age of seventeen, though, Kuzu's parents were at last caught and killed in the ensuing chase. The girl was shipped off to an orphanage, where she lived and learned until she was admitted to University upon her graduation and attainment of adulthood. There, she studied business administration before her smarts and unique background attracted the attention of an American security consulting firm. No sooner had Kuzu graduated from University than did she depart for parts unknown. The girl worked diligently in her new role for about a decade, but eventually the tedium of firm work got to her. She missed working with her hands, and despised the amount of time she spent schmoozing with potential clients instead of simply working on locks and checking weak points in servers and fences alike. Fed up with her life as a consultant, she packed up her things and moved to a somewhat sleepy town in the mountains to open her own metalworking and locksmithing business. All the while, she remained clean -- but old ghosts had a habit of rearing their incorporeal heads, and old habits had a tendency to resurface despite one's best intentions.
