Animal Description
- Stocky in stature, rounded ears.
- Base coat is a red-tinted beige in color, spots and rings are a dark brown that borders on black.
- No notable markings of scars, seemingly intact.
- A reference image courtesy of Brit!

Appearance

- Septum and ears pierced, has yet to figure out about silver jewelry, so it's a whole monthly ordeal.
- Wears whatever's cheap and halfway flattering - doesn't assign or limit herself to one sort of style.
- A couple tattoos from a distant time where her bank account hit three digits, no plans for anything further.
- Keeps her hair short, can't be assed to dye it every month.
- Defaults to a fairly serious expression rarely can be seen smiling when left to her own devices.

Personality

Selfish, Temperamental. Curious. Vengeful.

History

CHILDHOOD:
- Grew up just outside of Denver in the suburbs, oldest of four in a family that had enough money for maybe two. Got a job as soon as she could get a permit, learned to make due from an early age. Mother was a seamstress, father was a chef at a local diner - not a particularly close-knit family, got along well enough with her siblings.
- Spent a lot of time when she wasn't managing midline grades playing a secondhand bass in the garage and making herself scarce from the frequent chaos of home.
- Not much of a social butterfly kept close with the friends that she did make, a fairly volatile child.

THE SHIFT:
- Just north of twenty-two and living in a small apartment with two other friends, a fight breaks out at a house party and she intervenes to break it up,
- Banishes one friend to the back of the apartment, goes outside to check on the other - gets fucking scratched by what (she assumed to be) a cat.
- Has the good fortune of being out of the apartment during her first full moon, not such a good series of events for the upholstery and detailing of her car, of course.
- Almost immediately following her first unfortunate full moon, Adina gets cornered by a familiar face from a certain house party. She spends six years in a ragtag clowder of black-footed Were's - learns her way around what she is and finds a knack for fighting.
- Despite the group's disapproval, when she's twenty-eight hubris and restlessness have her leaving Colorado to tour in a beat up van with a group of friends she's played with for years.
- Drinks far too much after a show outside of Pasadena and gets into a fight, ends up showing a bit too much of her hand to her friends in the process - panics and kills them. Eats when she can of the bodies, disposes of the rest.

PRESENTLY:
- Knowing that she can't go back home to a know-it-all clowder, Adina hitchhikes and bums her way along the coast and weaves east from time to time.
- It's been several months since the Pasadena incident, ends up in Mountainside in late November, holes up in Ravenswood in a safe house.
- Careful about not shitting where she eats, she minds her manners when around town, but Mountainside is lonely living and there's truth in the old saying that misery loves company. Besides, there's safety in numbers - especially when there are dogs that are bigger than you.

Other

Face Claim: Barbara Magalhaes

- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Still plays bass, zero intention of making that mistake twice though.
- Generally harbors no ill-will towards vampires, just wants everyone to stay in their own lane.
- Bit of a Napolean complex when it comes to other Were's, however.
